Who we are
Welcome to the webpages of Herbicide Resistance Action Committee - Europe (EHRAC). The group is a specialist technical committee consisting of European industry representatives from the major crop protection and plant science companies. The committee works closely with Global HRAC and the other Regional HRAC groups as well as affiliated organisations including CropLife International and the European Crop Protection Association (ECPA).
READ MOREWeed Fact Sheets (New species recently added)
HRAC Europe in conjunction with various weed experts are in the process of developing Fact Sheets on weeds relevant to the European situation. The information covered includes weed biology, the impact of agronomic measures on occurrence and spread, observed resistance in Europe and best management practices. Attached at the end of the Fact Sheets is a list of relevant references. The Weed Fact Sheets published so far includes Apera spica-venti, Echinochloa crus-galli, Bromus Sterilis, Lolium species, Tripleurospermum inodorum,Matricaria chamomilla, Erigeron canadensis and Centaurea cyanus. Others will be published in due course.

EHRAC have prepared a short slide deck explaining the changes and revisions to the HRAC Mode of Action Classification along with the associated CropLife International product labelling guidance. This is now available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Hungarian and Russian.

A MoA labelling icon was developed by CropLife International (CLI) and the RACs (F/H/I), to support a uniform inclusion of MoA information on product labels. CLI would encourage pesticide regulatory authorities to consider the mandatory use of the icons and the global icon format.

Global HRAC and HRAC Europe support combination of sequence of active ingredients belonging to former groups N and K3 (new group 15)
A GHRAC Working Group published common advice regarding the combination or sequence of actives ingredients belonging to group 15. The recommendation letter can be accessed in English, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
